Am I Good? ("the App") is a street sweeping parking checker for Los Angeles and Santa Monica, provided by Placido Inc ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information the App accesses, how it's used, and who else sees it.

Information We Collect

The App does not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal identifier.

The only data the App accesses is your precise location, and only when you tap "Current Location" to check your spot. We do not access your location in the background or at any other time.

How We Use Your Location

When you check your spot, your coordinates are used to look up nearby street sweeping schedule and street map data. To do this, your coordinates are sent to the public data sources listed below. This is required for the lookup to work. In Santa Monica, the App also uses Apple's on-device location services to look up a street name for your position, which may send your coordinates to Apple.

We do not operate any server of our own. We do not receive, store, or log your location, and we have no way to connect a location lookup back to you.

Third-Party Services

The App queries public, third-party data sources directly from your device:

• City of Los Angeles ArcGIS services, for posted street sweeping schedules
• City of Santa Monica GIS services, for posted street sweeping schedules
• OpenStreetMap (Overpass API), for street map data
• Apple location services (reverse geocoding), to look up a street name in Santa Monica

Each lookup sends your coordinates to these services so they can return results near you. These are independent services with their own privacy practices, which we don't control.

Data Storage & Retention

The App keeps your most recent location and schedule results in memory only, for as long as the App is open, so it doesn't need to re-fetch data if you check again right away. This is cleared when you close the App. We do not save any location or schedule history to your device or anywhere else.

Data Sharing & Selling

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party. We don't use analytics or advertising SDKs in the App.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
